I have my own font!

I had always wondered how I could make my handwriting into a font. I figured it would cost a lot of money to have that done. Then I found a deal at this site Your Handwriting Your Font, where you could make your handwriting into a font for $5! I couldn't pass it up! So I sent in my sample form, and Dana, who is very nice, sent me back a sample, and it was fantastic!!
If you have always wanted to turn your handwriting into a font, I highly recommend you check out Dana's site. She was very helpful, and a pleasure to deal with.

Post-It Purse

A few people have asked for the pattern for the Post-It Purse. Here is a picture showing the dimensions of each piece. For the scalloped edge, you could just use any border punch you have. That would be the easiest thing to do, in my opinion.

The score lines are at:

3 1/4"
3 3/4"
7 3/8"

Post-It Note Purse

A friend of my mom's purchases from me every year. She usually wants something different every year. So I rack my brain, and search the web for inspiration. She likes the things that I make that have Post-It Notes, so I was in search of the perfect project. After weeks of searching for inspiration, I came up with this purse. I think it is adorable. This one was my "sample". I had to get all the measurements just right, and set it up so I could cut it out with my Cricut. I will probably make about 30 of these, of varying colors and styles, so I will post again once I finish them all. I used SCAL to design the base and layers. The flowers and circles were done using punches. I embellished using rhinestones and pearls. I really like how they turned out.

They are very easy to make. The time consuming part for me is matching the papers! I am a bit of a perfectionist!

If you would like the SCAL files, I would be happy to share. I am also going to try and convert these to .jpg and .pdf. You can email me at
